Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F

Step 2: Form patty with ground beef

Step 3: Cook patty for 15-20 mins

Step 4: Assemble burger with all ingredients after patty is out

Beef 2 pounds
Chiles 8
Vegetable oil 1/2 cup
Onion 2
Tomatoes 1
Garlic 1
Spices (oregano, kosher salt, cumin, black pepper) Your choice amount

Cilantro + lime 1/2 pound each

Step 1: Preheat skillet over medium-high heat, add chiles inside

Step 2: Dice up all ingredients except tortilla and beef

Step 3: Add diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, and vegetable oil into pan and seer for about 2 minutes

Step 4: add cooked chiles and spices into blender

Step 5: Put beef into blended spices

Step 6: Add all ingredients including beef, diced up foods, spices, snd non applied items including lime, cilantro and cheese

Chocolate Lava cake

  • Time: 30 mins
  • Serves: 2
Ingredients Quantity
Bittersweet Chocolate 3 oz
Unsalted Butter 3 tbs
Granulated Sugar 3 tbs
Egg 1
Vanilla Extract 1/2 tsp
Kosher salt 1/8 tsp
Flour 2 tbs

Step 1: Heat oven to 425 degrees

Step 2: Combine the chocolate and 3 tablespoons butter in a heat-safe bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Cook, stirring occasionally, until melted and smooth. (Alternatively, combine in a bowl and microwave in 30-second blasts, stirring in between, until melted and smooth, about 1 minute.) Remove from the heat and set aside.

Step 3:In a medium bowl, combine the 3 tablespoons sugar, egg, egg yolk, vanilla and salt. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is thick, foamy and pale, about 2 minutes. Whisk in the flour until smooth.

Step 4: Using a spatula, add the chocolate to the egg mixture and stir gently until combined.

Step 5: Pour the mixture into the ramekin. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until the edges are set and puffed, but the center is still soft when lightly pressed. (You can also cover and refrigerate the batter up to a day in advance. Add an additional minute or 2 to baking time if you are baking the cake directly from the refrigerator.)

Step 6: Use an offset spatula or small knife to loosen the edges of the cake from the ramekin. Place a plate over the ramekin and carefully invert the warm cake. Use an oven mitt or clean kitchen towel to remove the ramekin, dust the cake with confectioners’ sugar and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

Butter 50 grams

Step 1: Boil the water in a vessel with high walls

Step 2: Add salt and the raw noodles while the water is boiling.

Step 3: Let the noodles cook till they are al dente.

Step 4: When the noodles are ready, wash them in clean water, after removing the hot water.

Step 5: Put the noodles back inside the vessel. Add the butter so they don't stick.

Step 6: Enjoy the Spaghetti with favourable toppings.

Pizza

  • Time: 1 hr 40 min

Ingredients Quantity
artisan pizza dough 1 ball
all purpose flour
Semolina flour, for dusting
basic pizza sauce 1/4 cups
shredded low-moisture mozzarella 3 ounces
Fresh basil or oregano leaves, for garnishing
A slice of cheese pizza

Step 1: Let chilled covered dough stand at room temperature until dough is cool (not cold) and a fingerprint remains when dough is pressed, 1 to 2 hours. Transfer 1 dough ball to a heavily floured surface. Using floured fingertips, firmly press all over dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
Step 2 If cooking in your home oven, preheat to 500°F with a baking steel or large round cast-iron pizza pan (such as Lodge 15-inch) on middle rack. Let pan preheat in oven for about 30 minutes. If using an outdoor pizza oven, preheat pizza oven and pizza stone according to manufacturer's instructions on high 20 minutes. (Note: Cooking with wood takes more experience to control the heat, so we've only included instructions for gas oven cooking here.)
Step 3 Form a C-shape with the outer edge of your hand, and press firmly inside dough border to define a 1/2-inch wide ring around edge of dough. Lift dough onto the knuckles of both hands, and gently stretch, rotating dough after each stretch to maintain its round shape. Continue gently stretching dough, allowing gravity to help it expand, until a 10-inch circle of even thickness forms, with a slightly thicker outer ring. Lay dough round on a semolina-dusted pizza peel, reshaping as needed to form a circle. Spread dough round with Basic Pizza Sauce. Top with shredded mozzarella.
Step 4 Gently shake pizza peel with prepared pie to loosen. If pizza feels stuck in any areas, carefully lift pizza edge with a bench scraper, and dust peel with a 1:1 mixture of semolina and bread flour. Unload pizza onto preheated pan in home oven, or onto stone in outdoor pizza oven using quick, decisive movements: Set the peel edge on the pan at about a 20-degree angle, and quickly pull back peel to slide half of the pizza onto the pan. Gently shake the peel side to side while pulling it back to slide the rest of the pizza onto the pan, allowing it to stretch slightly.
Step 5 If baking in a home oven, bake at 500°F until edges of crust have puffed slightly, about 3 minutes. Rotate pan 90 degrees, and increase oven temperature to broil. Broil until pizza is cooked through and crust is browned, 3 to 6 minutes. If baking in an outdoor pizza oven, cook pizza, using peel to rotate pizza 90 degrees every 20 to 30 seconds, until cooked through and crust is risen and charred in spots, 2 to 4 minutes.
Step 6 Using peel, transfer pizza to a cutting board. Garnish with fresh basil or oregano, if desired, and cut into wedges.

Grilled Cheese

Step 1
In a large nonstick skillet, cook the sliced sausages over moderate heat, turning once, until browned, about 8 minutes. Transfer the sausages to a plate and wipe out the pan.

Step 2
In a bowl, stir the butter with the shredded cheddar cheese just until combined. Spread the cheddar-butter on one side of each slice of bread; arrange them buttered side down on a work surface. Spread the mustard on the bread and sprinkle the Monterey Jack over the mustard. Top 4 slices with the sausages, halved cornichons and the sliced cheddar. Close the sandwiches, pressing lightly and tucking in any stray cheese.

Step 3
Place the sandwiches in the skillet, cover and cook over moderately low heat until golden on the bottom, 3 minutes. Press with a spatula to flatten slightly, then flip the sandwiches, cover and cook until browned on the bottom, 3 minutes longer; lower the heat if the bread is browned before the cheese melts completely. Transfer the sandwiches to a cutting board and let rest for 2 minutes, then cut them in half and serve with cornichons.


French Fries

  • Time:30 mins
  • Serves:1-5
  • Ingredients 10 potatoes

    Step 1 Boiling makes the potatoes tender; double-frying makes them incredibly crispy. Step 2 Cut the potatoes into 1/3-inch-thick steak fries.
    Step 3 Transfer the potatoes to a bowl of cold water.
    Step 4 Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Drain the potatoes, add them to the pot, and boil just until tender.
    Step 5 Carefully drain the potatoes and transfer them to a paper towel–lined rack to cool. Refrigerate until chilled.
    Step 6 In a large, deep skillet, heat 2 inches of oil to 250°F and set a rack over a baking sheet. Working in batches, fry the potatoes just until they begin to brown around the edges, about 8 minutes.
    Step 7 Transfer the potatoes to the rack and let cool. When all of the potatoes have been fried once, heat the oil to 350°F.
    Step 8 Fry the potatoes again, in batches, until golden, and crisp.
    Step 9 Drain the fries on a paper towel–lined baking sheet.
    Step 10 Sprinkle with salt and serve.

    Step 1: HEAT oven to 375ºF. Combine peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Add egg. Beat just until blended.

    Step 2: COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended. Drop by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls of dough 2-inches apart onto greased baking sheet. Flatten slightly in a crisscross pattern with tines of fork.

    Step 3: BAKE one baking sheet at a time for 7 to 8 minutes, or until set and just beginning to brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove cookies to cooling rack to cool completely.

    Step 2: Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls 3 in. apart onto lightly greased baking sheets. Flatten lightly with a fork. Bake until lightly browned, 10-12 minutes. Remove to a wire rack to cool.

    Chicken Soup

    Step 1: Place all ingredients in a large soup pot and cover with cold water by 1 inch
    Step 2: Boil up to a high heat then immediately reduce the heat to very low, cook uncovered until the chicken is falling off the bone. 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Step 3:When cool enough to handle, use tongs to transfer chicken from the pot to a container. Taste the broth and continue to simmer it until it is concentrated and tasty. Strain broth through a fine sieve into a separate container. Discard all the solids from the strainer
    Step 4:Refrigerate chicken pieces and broth separately for at least 8 hours, until a thick layer of yellow fat has risen to the top of the broth.
    Step 5:Separate the chicken from the bone and use forks to cut it into soft chunks
    Step 6:Skim chicken fat from top of broth and set aside. Place 3 tablespoons of the fat in a soup pot with a lid. Add leeks, stir to coat, and heat over medium heat until leeks begin to fry. Then reduce the heat to a gentle sizzle and cook, stirring often, until slightly softened, about 3 minutes.
    Step 7:Add carrots, sprinkle with salt, stir, and cover the pot. Cook until vegetables are just tender, about 5 minutes more.
    Step 8:Pour broth into pot with vegetables and heat to a simmer. Add the breast meat, then taste broth and add salt and pepper to taste.
    Step 9:Serve immediately, in a tureen or from the pot, sprinkling each serving with herbs.

    Pumpkin Pie

    9-inch store-bought pie crust 1
    granulated sugar. 3/4 cup
    ground cinnamon..................... 1 teaspoon
    salt......... 1/2 teaspoon
    ground ginger........................ 1/2 teaspoon
    ground cloves.......... 1/4 teaspoon
    large eggs.......... 2
    canned pumpkin....... 15 ounce can
    evaporated milk......... 12 ounce can

    Step 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
    Step 2: In a large bowl beat the eggs and pumpkin together. In a separate bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger and cloves, and add to pumpkin mixture.
    Step 3: Gradually stir in the evaporated milk. Carefully pour mixture into unbaked pie shell.
    Step 4: Bake at 425 degrees F for for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350° F; bake for 40 to 50 minutes longer, or until the pie is set. Check for doneness by giving the pie a gentle wiggle. The center may jiggle just a tiny bit. It will continue to set up as it cools. Or, it is done when a sharp knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    Step 5: Cool completely on a wire cooling rack, serve immediately.

    Tuscan Chicken Pasta

    boneless skinless chicken breasts 1 pound (about 2 breasts)
    olive oil 1 tablespoon
    paprika, smoked or regular 2 teaspoons
    salt and black pepper 2 tablespoons
    butter.. 2 tablespoons
    chopped yellow onion 1 cup
    dried basil 1 teaspoon
    garlic powder 1 teaspoon
    italian seasoning 1 teaspoon
    low-sodium chicken broth 4 1/4 cups
    milk.............. 1 cup
    penne pasta 12 ounces
    cream cheese , softened and cut into small pieces 6 ounces
    freshly grated parmesan cheese 1 1/2 cups
    sun-dried tomatoes , drained and chopped 8 ounces
    baby spinach leaves 4 ounces

    Step 1: Turn Instant pot to saute.
    Step 2:Season chicken breasts on both sides with paprika, salt and pepper.
    Step 3:Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to the hot instant pot.
    Step 4:Add chicken breasts and cook for 2 minutes on each side, until browned, but not cooked through. Remove to a plate.
    Step 5:Add butter and onion to the pot and sauté for 2 minutes.
    Step 6:Add chicken broth, (scraping the bottom of the pot to deglaze it), seasonings, milk, pasta, and chicken breasts back to pot.
    Step 7:Close IP lid and turn release valve to sealed. Cook on manual (high pressure) for 5 minutes.
    Step 8:When the timer beeps, do a controlled quick release, to release the pressure. (Turn the valve but if any liquid sprays close it again and try again in a few seconds.)
    Step 9:Carefully open lid. Remove chicken to a plate and tent with foil. (Don’t skip this step. The chicken will continue to cook under the foil).
    Step 10:Stir in cream cheese, stirring gently until it’s melted and the sauce is smooth. Stir in parmesan cheese, sun dried tomatoes and spinach. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
    Step 11:Chop chicken and return to pot. Sauce will thicken as it cools. Serve warm, garnished with extra parmesan cheese, if desired.

    Potato leek soup

    Large leeks 5 cups
    Garlic 3 cloves
    Gold potatoes 2 pounds
    Chicken broth 7 cups
    Bay leaves 2 leaves
    Thyme 3 sprigs
    Salt 1 teaspoon
    Black pepper ¼ teaspoon
    Heavy cream 1 cup

    INSTRUCTIONS


    1. Melt the butter over medium heat in a large soup pot. Add the leeks and garlic and cook, stirring regularly, until soft and wilted, about 10 minutes. Adjust the heat as necessary so as not to brown.

    2. Add the potatoes, broth, bay leaves, thyme, salt and pepper to pot and bring to a boil. Cover and turn the heat down to low. Simmer for 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are very soft.

    3. Fish out the thyme sprig and bay leaves, then purée the soup with a hand-held immersion blender until smooth. (Alternatively, use a standard blender to purée the soup in batches; see note.) Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. If soup is too thin, simmer until thickened. If it's too thick, add water or stock to thin it out. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

    4. Note: If using a standard blender to purée the soup: be sure not to fill the jar more than halfway; leave the hole in the lid open and cover loosely with a dishtowel to allow the heat to escape; and pour blended soup into a clean pot.

    1. In a small bowl, stir together the chili powder, salt, and garlic powder. Place the chicken in a separate, medium bowl and sprinkle with half of the spice mixture. Stir to coat. Set aside.

    2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the oil until it is hot and shimmering. Add the onion and bell peppers, and any other vegetables you are using (wait to add spinach, however). Sprinkle the remaining spice mixture over the top and stir to coat. Sauté, stirring occasionally, until the onion is turning translucent and brown and the other vegetables are crisp-tender, 6 to 8 minutes. If using spinach, stir it in a few handfuls at a time until it wilts. If you’d like the filling spicy, add a few dashes of hot sauce to taste. Transfer the vegetables to the bowl with the chicken and stir to combine.

    3. Assemble the quesadillas: For each, top half of a tortilla with an eighth of the pepper Jack (about 2 1/2 tablespoons) and an eighth of the cheddar (about 1 1/2 tablespoons). Spread one-quarter each of the vegetables and chicken evenly on top of the cheese (it will seem like a lot, but go with it). Top with one-eighth additional pepper Jack (2 1/2 tablespoons) and one-eighth additional cheddar (1 1/2 tablespoons).

    4. Fold the empty tortilla half over the toppings, pressing gently. Repeat with remaining tortillas.

    5. Cook the quesadillas: With a paper towel, carefully wipe out the skillet you used for the vegetables. Heat over medium to medium-low heat, adding a little butter or oil to the skillet if you’d like the tortillas crisper. Place 1 quesadilla in the pan with the folded edge running down the center and the open edge facing outward. Lay a second quesadilla down beside it facing the opposite direction so it fits in the skillet nicely. With the back of a spatula, lightly press down on the tops so they flatten (don’t worry if some of the cheese oozes out; it will become crispy and DELISH). Cook on the first side until golden and crisp, adjusting the heat as needed so the quesadillas crisp but do not burn, about 4 or so minutes depending upon your stove.

    6. Carefully flip and cook the other side for about 2 more minutes, until both sides are a yummy, lightly crisp golden brown.

    7. Let the quesadillas cool on a cutting board for a few minutes (or transfer to a 200 degrees F oven to keep warm while finishing remaining batches). When ready to serve, with a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice into three pie-shaped wedges. Enjoy hot with toppings.

    24 ounces tomato sauce
    2 cups cooked chicken
    16 ounces (1 pound) grated mozzarella cheese

    Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly coat a 2-quart baking dish with olive oil and set aside.

    Step 2: Cook lasagna noodles until al dente according to package instructions. Rinse under cold water until cool. Lay the cooked pasta flat and set aside.

    Step 3: In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, Parmigiano-Reggiano, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

    Step 4: Add eggs, sugar and lemon zest, and vanilla to a stand mixer with a paddle attachment. After three to four minutes of high-speed beating, the mixture should have tripled in volume and seem thick and fluffy. Then carefully pour in the lavender-bloomed oil. Beat for one more minute after adding all of the oil.

    Step 5: Add three additions of the dry ingredients to the stand mixer on a low setting, with breaks to add yogurt and lemon juice. Beat the batter until it's smooth.

    Directions

    Step 1: Weigh your flour or measure it by spooning it into a cup, then sweeping off any excess.

    Step 2: In a large bowl, stir together all the ingredients (except cornmeal), starting with 4 1/2 cups flour. Use a strong spoon or the beater paddle attachment on your stand mixer. Mix until all the ingredients are combined into a shaggy ball of dough.

    Step 3: Using some of the extra 1/2 cup flour, transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface if you're kneading it by hand. Using the heels of your hands, press the dough away from you after folding its far edge back over on itself in your direction. Turn the dough 90 degrees. For approximately six minutes, repeat this fold-press-rotate sequence while making a rhythmic rocking motion. Smooth and bouncy dough will result from complete kneading.

    Step 4: If you are using a stand mixer, change to the dough hook and knead the dough for approximately 7 minutes on medium speed, or until it is elastic, smooth, and has a slight bounce to it. Add just enough of the extra flour to the dough to enable it to form into a ball that clears the bowl's sides.

    Step 5: The bowl you started with is OK, but make sure to lightly grease it before placing the dough in it. You can use cooking spray. Once the dough has doubled in size, for about one to two hours, let it rise at room temperature in the bowl covered with plastic wrap or similar airtight cover. Keep your oven off and place the bowl of dough inside with the oven light on if the temperature in your kitchen is especially low—below 65°F.

    Step 6: Divide the dough in half after gently deflating it. Create a rough 6" x 8" oval by patting each half.

    Step 7: Taking one piece of dough at a time, grab one short side and fold the dough in half, pressing it into the center and then over itself like a business letter. Press the "letter's" open edge closed with the heel of your hand. Pat the dough gently, then roll it into a log that is about 10" long. Proceed with the leftover portion of dough.

    Step 8: Lay the loaves on a baking sheet (parchment-lined if preferred), seam-side down. Sprinkle in plenty of cornmeal to coat the pan (or parchment); this will prevent the bread from sticking and give it a crispy bottom crust.

    Step 9: For forty-five minutes, let the loaves rise with a light covering of greased plastic wrap. They ought to get nice and puffy. Your bread is ready to bake when you gently poke your index finger into the side of one of the loaves and the indentation stays there.

    Step 10: Preheat the oven to 450°F near the end of the rising time.

    Step 11: Add steam to your oven in the following ways for an exceptionally crusty crust and a great rise: Place an empty cast-iron frying pan on the lowest rack of the oven while it's heating up. In the microwave or on the stove, bring one cup of water to a boil.

    Step 12: After your bread has risen, lightly dust the loaves with flour using a sieve. Next, score each loaf diagonally three or four times, about 1/2 inch deep. This will ensure that the bread rises uniformly during baking. Pour the boiling water into the frying pan below and place the bread in the oven. Shut the oven door quickly. To protect your hands and arms from the steam during this process, put on some quality oven mitts.

    Step 13: The bread should sound hollow when you tap it on the bottom and the crust should be golden brown once it has been baked for 20 to 25 minutes. A digital thermometer should read at least 190°F for the interior temperature of the bread.

    Step 14: To maintain a crisp crust, turn off the oven, open the door, and leave the bread inside for an additional five minutes. After taking the bread out of the oven, let it cool on a rack. Cutting into hot bread can alter its texture, so it's best to wait until it has cooled down a little before doing so.

    Step 15: For a few days, keep the bread at room temperature, well wrapped to store it. For extended storage, freeze.

    Step 1: Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and place in a small bowl. Add 1 teaspoon canola oil and 1/2 teaspoon fish sauce. Mix well and set aside in the refrigerator.

    Step 2:Place rice noodles in a large bowl and cover with boiling water. Let stand for 5 minutes. Drain noodles in a colander, rinse with cold running water, then drain until dry. Using scissors, cut the bundle of noodles in half.

    Step 3:Place garlic in a small bowl and add soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, white pepper, sugar, and remaining 2 teaspoons fish sauce. Mix well and set sauce aside.

    Step 4:Heat 1 teaspoon canola oil in a wok or nonstick skillet over high heat, tilting to swirl oil, until smoking. Add eggs and let cook undisturbed for about 10 second, then gently move the eggs back and forth with a spatula until they start to firm up. Break the eggs into small pieces, then set aside in a large bowl.

    Step 5:Wipe wok clean. Return wok to high heat, add 2 teaspoons oil and heat until smoking. Add shrimp and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add roast pork and onion and continue to stir-fry for another 30 seconds. Add red bell pepper and snow peas and stir for another 30 seconds, then add carrots. Add 1 teaspoon curry powder, season with salt, and cook, tossing, until curry is evenly distributed. Scrape wok contents into bowl with eggs.

    Step 6:Wipe the wok clean again. Heat remaining 2 tablespoons canola oil over high heat until smoking. Add the rice-stick noodles and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add the sauce and remaining 2 teaspoons curry powder. Stir until the curry powder is evenly distributed. Return egg, shrimp, roast pork, and vegetables to wok and stir-fry until everything is evenly combined, about 30 seconds. Season with salt and remove from heat. Add scallions, drizzle with sesame oil, mix well, and transfer to a large serving bowl. Enjoy immediately.

    Garlic Naan

    • Total Time: 2 Hours 5 minutes

    Ingredients Quantity
    All Purpose Flour (maida) 3.25 cups + 3-4 tbsp
    Salt 1 tsp
    Water (lukewarm) 1 cup
    Sugar 1 tbsp
    Active Dry Yeast 2 tsp
    Milk (lukewarm) 1/3 cup
    Plain Yogurt 2 tbsp
    Oil 3 tbsp
    Garlic Gloves 2 (large)
    Nigella seeds/kalonji
    Butter 3 tbsp
    Cilantro 3 tbsp (chopped)
    Garlic 2 tsp (minced)

    Instructions:

    1. In a bowl whisk together 3.25 cups all purpose flour (423 grams) with 1 teaspoon salt. Set it aside.

    2. To the steel bowl of your stand mixer, add lukewarm water and then add the sugar and yeast. Let it bloom for 5-10 minutes. You will know the yeast is activated when its all bubbly and frothy on top.

    3. Once the yeast in activated, add to it lukewarm milk, yogurt and oil.

    4. Add the flour mixture and mix until combined.

    5. Also add the grated garlic. Start adding the remaining 3-4 tablespoons of flour (27-36 grams). Add 1 tablespoon at a time and add more if the flour is too sticky. I added around 3-4 tablespoons flour at this point. The dough will be sticky, so do not add more flour to make it dry. It just shouldn't be very sticky.

    6. Knead with hands or with the dough hook attachment of your stand mixer for 1-2 minutes until the dough is smooth. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl.

    7. Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and the the dough rise in a warm place for 60-90 minutes. If it cold where you live, pre-heat your oven for few minutes and then turn it off. Then place your dough inside the oven (remember the oven should be off!)

    8. 10- After around 90 minutes, the dough will be more than double in size. Punch the dough lightly to release the air.

    9. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts (around 100-105 grams each). Dough will be sticky so oil your hands while dividing the dough. Cover the dough balls with a kitchen towel and let them rest for 10-15 minutes.

    10. Meanwhile melt 3 tablespoons of butter, add minced garlic and chopped cilantro to it. Keep the garlic butter ready to brush on the naan.

    11. Heat up an iron skillet on medium-high heat. I really recommend using an iron skillet to make these naan.

    12. Take a dough ball and roll it into an oval shape, around 10 to 11 inches long and 6 inches wide. Apply little oil on top of the dough before you try to roll it. Also oil your roller. Do not try to roll the dough like you would roll a tortilla/roti/paratha. Simply stretch it length wise and then width wise.

    13. Dip your finger in water and then sprinkle some nigella seeds on top. This is optional.

    14. Transfer the rolled naan onto the hot skillet. Let it cook for couple of minutes until you see bubbles on top. Brush the naan at this point with the prepared garlic butter.

    15. With the help of a tong, remove the naan from skillet, flip and transfer directly to the gas. There will be a little mess as the butter will pour down - don't worry, it's okay. If you want you can cover your burner with aluminium foil before you begin cooking the naan.

    You can also skip the step of applying butter at this point and apply it directly once the naan is cooked. I like applying it twice -->more garlic flavor!

    16. Cook the garlic naan for 15-20 seconds (directly on gas) until nicely golden brown from both the sides.

    17. Remove from heat and brush with more garlic butter. Serve these homemade garlic naan with dal makhani or butter paneer!

    To Cook Garlic Naan in the Oven
    To cook the garlic naan in oven - pre-heat oven to 500 F degrees. Arrange rolled naan on a baking tray and then bake for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Remove naan from oven and apply the garlic butter. If you want, you can then place the naan in the oven under broiler to get them charred.

It will thicken some when cooled and all of the flavors will come together at the end. I like to use the restaurant style coarse black pepper so you can see it in the sauce. To make the sauce hotter, add another teaspoon of black pepper and another 1/8 teaspoon of white and red pepper.
